Tapp Travel Presentations
Are you looking for a speaker for that special event, monthly meeting or dinner? I am Bernard Tapp, a retired Headteacher with a great deal of speaking experience to groups of men and women in the local area. Since I retired I have travelled extensively.
I can offer presentations on Mongolia, Tibet, the Himalayas, including a couple of visits to Mount Everest, Annapurna, and Ladakh. I also have talks on China, Lapland , Kathmandu, Moscow and the Trans-Siberian Railway. I have recently visited Rajasthan, Egypt, Morocco and Patagonia. In Rajasthan I went to the Pushkar camel fair, with over 17,000 camels, oxen and horses. Morocco involved a camel Safari into the Sahara desert, and treks to the Berber vllages in the Atlas mountains. In Egypt we explored the pyramid sites at Giza, Saqarra and Dashur, not the usual " down the Nile trip" and in Patagonia saw the penguins elephant seals and southern Right Whales at the Valdes Peninsular before going south to the most southerly town in the world at Ushuaia. We the treked on the Perito Merino glacier in Argentina and visited the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. We have recently been along the River Niger by boat to the "City of Mysteries" Timbuktu. All these have given me many slides on which my recent talks have been based.
I bring all my own equipment to present the colour slides which accompany my talk, and these are very well received. Most of my contacts come from personal recommendation, and I have many repeat bookings. For further details contact me on 01454 414815 or m.robinet@blueyonder.co.uk.
